BCU Foundation Safety and Rescue Training
This course aims to provide the student with the key safety and rescue skills required to operate safely in a sheltered water environment and to be able to deal with common emergencies. These skills will then form the basis of all safety and rescue training throughout the BCU Coaching Scheme. This course involves work in a variety of boats, including kayaks and canoes.

Safety and Rescue for Sea Kayakers
This course picks up where FSRT (above) leaves off and looks more closely at safety and rescue skills needed by sea kayakers, including self rescue, towing and incident management. Please note this is not a BCU certified course.

Pre-requisites: None required, although those with some previous sea kayaking experience will benefit most from this course, contact me for more information.
